Our Admission Process

Number of Seats: 192

Compulsory Subjects

English, M.I.L., (Oriya/Alt. English / Hindi / Sanskrit – any one) and Environmental Education (1st Year Only)
Elective Subjects are 1st Physics, 2nd Chemistry, 3rd Mathematics & 4th Elective Subjects : Biology, Information Technology (IT), Electronics (EL), Biotechnology & Statistics
Subject Combinations : PCM-B, PCM-IT, PCM-EL, PCB-IT

Eligibility for Admission

Students who have passed the 10th Board Examination conducted by the BSE Odisha / CBSE / ICSE are eligible for admission. Admission will be strictly based on merit under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) as per Resolution No.: 1-A-HE-4A-2010-3702/HE dated 20.02.2010 of Government of Odisha, Higher Education Department.

How to Apply

The admission into the Higher Secondary School shall be done through the ONLINE e-admission procedure under SAMS for the academic session. Students shall download the Common Application Form from the Govt. of Odisha website (www.dheodisha.nic.in) only after the publication of results from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

Submission of Common Application Form (CAF)

After the 'Application Form(s)' is collected from the Govt. website for admission into the +2 streams, the student must fill the CAF carefully and fill it in CAPITAL LETTERS and submit the form online only.

Summer Course

The Summer Course is specially and systematically designed by Adyant Higher Secondary School, aimed at the students of Class X to have access and understand the demands of the science stream in the senior secondary classes. The course content and the pedagogy of the summer coaching at Adyant ensures the students' progress from the basics to the advanced topics, fulfilling both the requirements of the board and the competitive examinations. Apart from building confidence in the students from the very beginning, the course helps them to create much needed interest to learn from the best faculty, in the state which plays a crucial role in creating Well Oriented dreams of pursuing a career in medicine or engineering.

From Commencement – Mid September Half Yearly Examination- September -3rd Week of October covering 30% of the syllabus.Commencement of session in April to Mid JUNE Raja Break 1ST Term Examination: Last Week of June after the Raja Break
Term IIStage II
After the Half yearly-Final Examination in Mid February Revision -cum-doubt clearing classes will commence from Mid February -Mid March. Annual Examination: Will be conducted after the second week of March. The Annual examination will be conducted on the whole syllabus of Class XI as prescribed by the CHSE Board. The percentage and ranks are awarded to students based on the performance of weekly tests Half Yearly and Annual Examination.From July-Sept Completion of Class XII Syllabus RTS : Revision Test Series Sept-October to November Pre Board Examinations: November PTS: Practice Test Series: 30 tests are conducted with additional doubt clearing classes on a 1:1 basis. Rules & Regulations

Each student will be issued an identity card. The study and attendance into the school and classes respectively will be only allowed with the identity card. If the ID card is lost or misplaced, a duplicate i-card must be requested from the school against payment of Rs 500/-.

If any student is found misusing the I-card, the i-fee will be penalized.

✓

All parents are requested to attend the meeting of the parents. Results of all tests/information/decisions and all notifications of the school will be sent to the parent only through messages to the phone number given to the school.

✓

All students not enrolled with the school will have to write legally regularly in case the teachers find that the student is not working hard, creating indiscipline in the school or hostel. A warning/probationary re-enrollment period may be given for current year results.

A student must have an attendance of 80% and above. The student is responsible for consequences for each short of attendance as the cost.

✓

In case of any student at the time of admission, excesses (for her higher option through the e-admission procedure) will be refunded the objection amount after deducting amount as earmarked by the Govt. of Odisha.

If any student after the completion of his/her admissions selections the higher option, the amount of refund will be decided by the management.

✓

The parents can meet the principal for any enquiry about the progress of their wards, or any other problem concerning their ward with prior appointment only.

✓

Any change of address are required to be notified in writing to the school office within 7-10 days.

✓

A student who is late by 5 minutes for classes/tests will not be allowed to enter the classroom for that period subject to proper and justifiable explanation.

✓

If the school bag provided to the student is lost/misplaced, a new bag can be obtained from the school against a payment of Rs 400/-.

✓

If any type of mishap occurs in the premises of the school because of situations beyond control of school or accidental, or for any other natural calamity like earthquake, floods, fire, electric short circuit, etc, the school shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever.

✓

Every student must purchase the school fees within the schedule time regularly. A fine @ Rs. 50 per day will be charged for non-payment of instalments in time.

✓

The student is not allowed to possess any electronic gadgets, including mobile phones/i-pad, smart watches etc during his/her stay in the school. The same conditions are applicable for all boarders.

✓

The school reserves its rights to make any alterations to its programmes timing and days of classes without any prior notice to students.

✓

In case of any dispute or differences between you and the school regarding the interpretation of these terms & conditions, the same shall be referred to Civil Arbitrators appointed by the Chairman of Adjunct Educational & Counsellor Trust.

The student must compensate the school for any loss/damage to the property of the school caused directly or indirectly due to his or her negligence, mischief, or any malicious manner etc.

✓

The Chairman reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations, if there registered in the interest of the Institution & Students.

Every student has to submit a bond/undertaking with self-declaration: 'I have read the terms and conditions and will follow the rules and regulations school as mentioned in the prospectus & promise to abide by the same and liable for penalty, if any, for any breach thereof.'
